I design and build narratives for a more conscious humanity. Conveying stories of transformation, building brands that embody purpose, creating work that exists in relationship with community and place rather than in opposition to it.

My approach is based in research and a feeling of wonder. I observe rather than dictate; I reduce to extract the authentic from a proposition rather than what one may expect to find. Hand-drawn typography that carries the maker's hand, imagery that celebrates the blemished over the polished, work that feels like it came from somewhere.

I work across branding, editorial, illustration, typography, and web design, primarily with clients in arts and culture, publishing, education, and environmental action.
