EP artwork and custom typeface for Quazarz, an underground electronic and rap artist exploring themes of displacement and cosmic travel.
Asterick Rain tells the story of an otherworldly being crash-landing on Earth—a narrative of arrival, disorientation, and searching for connection. The custom typeface was designed to echo crescent moon curves, using form and negative space to suggest both interplanetary movement and the isolation of being unmoored from home.
The visual treatment layers abstracted portraiture with celestial imagery, creating an aesthetic that feels simultaneously alien and intimate. Each design element reinforces the EP's central tension: the experience of being fundamentally out of place, yet desperately seeking ground to stand on.
