Branding and single artwork for ELL/E, an up and coming electronic DJ.
The central component in this project was the strong blended brushstroke. It not only acts as a motif for the forward slash in the DJ’s name, but creates strength of direction and forward movement. This image was designed to be part of a larger asset library of brushstrokes varying in shape, size, colour and texture, which collectively aimed to highlight the variety and range of genres found in the artist’s sets.
